Learn to Crochet The Suzette Stitch Video Tutorial and Stitch Pattern

I'm always excited when I have a 2 row repeat pattern to share with you guys because they are fun and easy. This week I have something even better- a 1 row repeat pattern! The Suzette Stitch is a super simple crochet stitch that looks more complicated than it is.
If you are familiar and comfortable with the Single Crochet, Double Crochet, and skipping stitches, The Suzette Stitch will come easily for you!
I've seen The Suzette Stitch be confused with The Tulip Stitch. They look similar but The Suzette Stitch is a little different and easier in ,my opinion.
The Suzette Stitch Pattern
Begin with an even number of chains.
Row 1: In the 2nd chain from hook, work 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet. * Skip 1 chain. In the next chain, work 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet. Repeat from * across. Chain 1, turn.
Row 2: Work 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet into the first stitch. *Skip 1 stitch, work 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet into the next stitch. Repeat from * across.
Repeat row 2 until the project is your desired length.

I will be including this stitch in a project I’m soooo excited to share with you all. Until then feel free to learn it for whatever you want to stitch up next.
