The bobble stitch is easy to learn and adds so much texture and personality to blankets, sweaters, this coaster pattern, etc. Keep reading for a bobble stitch tutorial, as well as a pattern to follow to create your own piece featuring the bobble stitch.

Note that the bobble stitch creates a very defined right side and wrong side. The bobble will stick out on the right side, and the wrong side will be flat. When working with the bobble stitch, alternate rows of single crochets and bobble stitches to keep the bobbles on one side only.
