For this throw pattern, you will crochet 49 squares. Each square is a special stitch that has been assigned a specific feeling, inspired by The Feelings Wheel (feelingswheel.com). Crochet the squares that correspond to your own feelings.

For example, The Single Crochet Square is Joy. If you have been feeling particularly joyful, crochet The Single Crochet Square.

Make a square whenever you feel a big emotion that you would like to sit and acknowledge, or at the end of the day when you reflect and identify an overarching feeling of the day. You can also look back on the past week and pick the feeling that stands out to you the most for that week and dedicate the square to that week. Make this blanket your own, on your own time.

If you do decide to do a square a week, the blanket will take just under a year to complete, giving you a picture of your feelings for the year, wrapped.
